Learning new stuff

It's really hard to make corrections on a pot once it's been glaze fired, EXCEPT when you're adding more oxide.  

Originally these pod shapes turned out the same color as the salmon stripes in the vase.  There wasn't the contrast I wanted because I had not put a thick enough coating of the oxide on.  So I took a chance, painted on some more oxide, and Voila! it worked.  

It looks better now.  Who knew?
