Well, I didn't.
I now know it is a type of fabric pattern done in Uzbekistan, and several of those other "stan" countries around Iran.
It usually is symetrical, with flower motifs being most often used.
I'm working up a proposal for a potential client who wants a suzani pattern.

Nope never heard of it -- but it's pretty. Not really my cuppa tea but to each his own. Lots of examples of this style on Etsy. Bags, chairs, wall hangings, etc.
